BTW, I’m not trying to be too harsh. Just that many Americans have fallen for the propaganda which is called education. Look who owns the textbook publishers and what criteria they use for those textbooks. Textbooks have been rewritten according to the desires of the school districts buying the books. In some cases, calling black slaves willing immigrant workers (who agreed to be chained and work for no pay). The criteria for the books are set by people who have an agenda. That agenda is not education.
One of the reasons Medium exists is the rise of alternative media, breaking away from purely corporate media and their propaganda. If we use this medium to simply defend the corporate agenda, what good have we done?
We have to go beyond what is considered “authorized” by the government and their corporate owners. We have to think in larger terms.
